THE RECIPE WRANGLER


Whoa there! There's a right way and a wrong way to cook pasture-raised beef, and we want to make sure you're fixin' to do it the right way! So right now, even as you read, Bubbas the Dog is working cheek-to-jowl with our web geek to develop The Recipe Wrangler.
The Recipe Wrangler will show you a complete list of our cuts, each one named just as you see it on your Nevada County Free Range Beef package. You'll click a link to open a recipe written especially for the unique characteristics of the cut, along with guidelines on cooking techniques that will bring out the best in our gourmet beef.

For now, here are three recipes, just to get you started on your cooking adventure with our pasture-raised beef:

The top-secret sauce for any cut of beef you'd like to grill; great on ribs. We had to tie Jim down to make him give up the recipe.

Fall-into-Winter Hearty Vegetable Beef Soup
All you need to keep a body warm against the chill of winter. For our chuck roast, bottom round, brisket, shoulder pot roast, or stew meat.
